Grassroots East

Grassroots East, Connecticut’s 2nd Congressional District Republican Organization, is hosting a Wine, Beer and Hors d'oeuvres fundraiser.

4:00PM to 7:00PM on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Castle at Cornfield Point, 12 Billows Road, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.

Wine, Beer and Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Republican candidates for national, state and local office will be in attendance.

Admission is $25.00 per person. An Event Registration Form is required for each attendee. The forms can be found on the Grassroots East web site www.grassrootseast.org.

Turn left onto Boston Post Rd/US-1/CT-154. Continue to follow Boston Post Rd/US-1. Turn left onto Old Boston Post Rd/CT-154. Take the 1st right onto Great Hammock Rd/CT-154. Approximately 200 enthusiastic 2^nd Congressional District Republicans packed the ballroom at the Norwich Holiday Inn for the Grassroots East Honor the Candidates Dinner. Attendees included Senatorial candidates Chris Shays, Linda McMahon, Brian K. Hill, Kie Westby and Peter Lumaj; Congressional candidates Chris Coutu and Daria Novak; State Republican Party Chair Jerry Labriola; former Congressman Rob Simmons; former Congressional candidates Ed Munster and Doug Dubitsky; Republican First Selectmen and Selectmen from across the 2^nd Congressional District; and the top movers & shakers in the Republican Party in Eastern Connecticut.

Republican candidates for municipal office in the 2011 across the 2^nd Congressional District were honored for their efforts and contributions.
